AMOBI (Verse 2 ‘II’)

Wake up, if you can

Tell death your sons live

And your daughters but breed

Not for death to claim

But to outline eternity

Look back, if you wish

See to the heart of those you love

And tell them, tell him

That to die is to live

In the heart of your beloveds

Remember, if you please

That time which swifts

No longer ticks or tacks

To speed up your act

For death dares triumphs
