Poem By BUSY BRAIN: ENDURANCE

ENDURANCE
The road is laced with sharp thorns and tiny space
And its way is tedious to tread and trace.
The firewood of this world takes steadiness and endurance
As its glittering nature is chancy and fragrance.

The race of life has a long mile,
It takes endurance to mount the sky
The life is a battle fought by warrior,
It takes endurance to be a conqueror.

Tell my mind not to fall in hasty trap
As endurance will label my forehead with a wealthy cap.
Tell my heart not to trip for the fortune in devils’ land,
As the wind is set to fly me to a steady stand
Tell my soul not to mind men with hasty comfort
As their wealth sip the blood of the innocent
What if fortune remains in evil’s trance?
Then, I shall end my life in the pool of endurance.
