We Need A Comforter

Aye,
we need to cry for a Messiah
Who with his endowed divinity
Shall call on our four forefathers
To slumber not but behold the day
As we rise to wallow in tears

Though,
we've assembled before Aso rock
The altar tomb of our ancestors
For, our yester-flaws we plead be forgone
Lest their  heroic deeds be altered
As we rise to wallow in tears

Do we need a solicitor
Who in patriotic guise, shall
Bear the dotted 'green' and 'white'
Of our common values
To raise our flagged spirit?
As we rise to wallow in tears.

But, we need a comforter!
One, who's adorned with no frail
Vigorous to condole and console
Harmed with 'Unity' and 'Truthfulness'
To call us to obeisance
As we rise to wallow in tears.
