Poem By Elcypher_That I may

That I may
die, like a burning candle
in the hands of night
laid in the palms of swiftly
breezing wind
which fuels me breath
—life.

That I may
ebb like the tide
of waves
Oh, wave of tides
Till a knight
consoles at my bay
to rumple my heart.

Nay, shall I die?
faintly,
as of a burning desire;
raging tides
but gentle withdrawal
of season from time
which inseparable seems

Lo,
my whole; this helpless soul
is immortal like
the glowing sun
that sets the dark to motion.

El cypher.
