Tale of Love.
In a bid to find lost treasure would man,
Forsake his hood, folks men n' perhaps his clan
Like an archer hunting for birds and fowls
Along with his dart and his glorious bows.
Man, himself alone, a half being he is
Till a Mistress; a maiden 'comes his bliss
Forth would turn his wilderness but a throne
Aye, for he hath found within, his lost bone.
Lo,
When a wench, in glamour walk some steps long
That upon pulchritude, all hearts leap
To and fro; and soothing bespeaks her tongue
She hast no prime, nay, 'thout her pride* to keep.
Oh,
The Mighty One* hast decreed man to lead;
Every step, deed and path his bride to take,
For in this course shall He grant his whole need
So pleased at a union of hearts to make.
Let man, courage his maiden prove
And her heart, cherish must be
That both dwell on the path of love
Till eternity, such in glee.
For Zainab (a member of Poets and Muses who got married the same day).
