Poem By Elcypher_Reflection [ I ]

Reflection

I want to plant my feet
In the depth of water bank
But, how many feet
Will it go down to look back
On life I never lived
with memories I believed
Childhood hung o'er the streams
I bottled in reflective dreams.

I used to be a lone fisher
With a thirsty bottle in hand
But, I've promised the river
To never visit (again)this island
Where innocence drowned me
And flew me offshore
To still recall what shall be
After age's innocent tour.
